After-school programmes at our community centres
Homework help every day, plus reading, maths, coding and sewing, in Ponte City.
Learning at the centre
A place where kids work out what they can do
We want kids to try as much as they can and find out what they are good at: maths, sewing, coding, music or sport.
The Foundation pays for it, with help from our tours and donors. Volunteers lead many of the classes. Got a skill? Share it as a volunteer.

Volunteer-led
Classes run with help from volunteers
Programmes in 2025 included piano lessons, knitting, coding and IT, pantsula dance, sewing, arts and crafts, story time, soccer, netball, urban gardening and a spelling bee. Volunteers helped with many of them.
A volunteer from St John’s College also arranged transport for our teenagers to Saturday maths and science classes, and brought 20 learners to help with homework every Wednesday.
Outside class there are clubs, outings and events too.
